Workshops with a goal

MMCC workshops are a combination of entertainment and teaching. A typical workshop last for three days and involves 250-500 children.

On the first day MMCC makes a performance with puppet shows, theatre and children walking and dancing on stilts. Each part of the show has a theme. It can be landmine awareness, health or how to be safe in the traffic. During the performance the actors make a dialoque with the audience. By asking questions and making the children do different exercises the show becomes interactive in a very simple way.

On the second day MMCC staff teach the children to act and to make their own puppets etc. The idea by this is to make sure that the activities can continue when MMCC move on to a new place.

On the third day the children make their own performance - using the things they have made and rehearsed with on the second day.
