First Performance

Now having basic equipment, MMCC was ready to start its activities. But where to start?

With help from one of the many representatives of organisations who had shown interest in the idea of MMCC, David Mason was offered to make a twenty minutes performance at a large UN-event at the International Drug Abuse Day in Kabul on June 21.

Beside being the first real performance for MMCC it was also a good opportunity to make contacts for the further work. It was done in cooperation with Kabul Theatre and among the audience was Hamid Karzai, president of Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, foreign minister and Lakhtar Brahimi, UN Special Representative of Afghanistan.
